Working as a collaborative team and further exploring the fluidity and construction of masculinity, this body of work, entitled Frenchmen-Florals, uses reconfigured French turn-of the century postcards found during a trip to Paris on the way back from opening an exhibition in Stockholm, Sweden in 2009. This exploration was spearheaded by a collaborative investigation into the historic application and use of vintage photographs.

Using the technique of collage/montage and photo scanning to speak metaphorically about the social construction of identity, the prints invite the viewer to think about their own gender construction by psychologically projecting themselves into the images.

16 x 20" altered pigment prints.
